Back through Cote d'ivore

Eventually we got through immigration back to Cote d'Ivore, this guy we met in Ghana who said he was Ivorian first he asked CG to carry his bag into Cote d'Ivore not letting us know what was in it but we just said no then he said to the police man that we had his yellow fever ticket then he told the the big boss that I was with him and I was his daughter but CG just yelled at him.

Eventually we got a tro tro to Aboisso from there we got a taxi to JBs again where we spent 2 nights. We arrived and JB got us dinner then we went to town because I wanted to see what the night club was like but it was shut so we went down to the pub there were so many people there drunk I pissed myself laghing we got home at about 2 in the morning I was so tired I went straight to bed. In the morning I went for a swim but the sea was being funny in a strange way soo we walked upto town to find a dressmaker he said come back tomorrow at 11 and it will be ready so we went back to JBs for another swim and a chilled afternoon. In the moarning we went back to get the dresses and we got 3 long skirts 2 for my friends and 1 for me 1 small one for my little sister and a short one for me and ... my gorgeous dress I designed later that afternoon we left for Bassam.

That night we arrived in Bassam Marvin wasn't there so we waited for him he was in Abidjan, when he got home he took us out for dinner we had a nice dinner but they made my chicken too spicy and the other nice we ordered it especially for me. Then we went to a nightclub it was so funny. The next day we went for a wander in Bassam didn't do much then we went for a swim in the pool we stayed at home for dinner that night. the next day we wandered up to this big market were we bought last minute presents then we went to the orphanage and we played with the kids and had a good time. That night we went out again for dinner then to the nightclub because one of Amis friends was having a birthday party I was dancing it was so fun eventually we got home and went to bed.

In the morning Ami braided my hair it took about 3 hours. Marvins family came over for lunch then we had a quick swim then that night we went to Abidjan and ate a big meal ready for our flight then at 11 we went to the airport and waited till2 in the morning then our flight to Maroc for 5 hours but we just booked a hotel room where we just slept and had a free lunch then we got the second plane to Toulouse were it was freezing.

"...but CG just yelled at him." Think that's the funniest thing I have read all year. Sitting here in a internet cafe, in Kisangani, everyone has just looked at me as I laughed out loud. I can totally picture it.

Hello Danika, it's Steve your Irish travel buddy. Love your writing. After what you have been through you are now the seasoned traveller, ready for anywhere. Do continue and remember - Never stop exploring!

I'm off towards Bukavu today. Well I found a vehical that will leave me at a place called Wupi, which is near enough I'm told... Could be 2-3 days travel. It's a tough place Congo.

Anyway I'm off, I'll be in touch, Steve.

I'll have you for that - still have a fit of laughter everytime I tell people I met you in a brothel in Bissau!!! :)

I did just yell at him, after an hour with Ghanaian immigration (& you know what they're like) I'd had enough ...
